A weighty, substantial and articulated solid sterling silver chain - a sculptural disc-dotted demi-dome ornamented box chain with a sturdy 'camouflaged' box clasp closure. This signature chain design emerged in the 1930s and can be found in catalogues dating through William Spratling's first design period c.1931-1946. The Spratling taller produces a very limited run of caviar chains each year. This is one-of-one in this years allocation to OLD JEWELRY.
